The West Island Youth Symphony Orchestra consists of a Symphony Orchestra for musicians between the ages of 14 and 25 that brings together young musicians within an orchestral ensemble and enable them to perfect their music under the direction of a professional conductor. The WIYSO promotes classical music and shares enriching musical experiences with the community.
The Insiders are a Montreal-based Jazz Quartet comprised of Loyola High School Alumni. Performing at the Loyola Christmas celebration events, the Wine and Cheese and Principal's Dinner, this Jazz Quartet takes pleasure in bringing the holidays to the forefront with their display of jazzy Christmas carols, and shows great dedication to showcasing their talent in front of their former staff.
Hail to the North is a Montreal-based rock quintet with a style based on the blend of classic rock, hard rock and pop music of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Performing at venues such as Macallans in Dorval, Kirkland Resto Bar, Ribfest in Pierrefonds and the Chateau du Lac in Hudson, Hail to the North is still chugging along with infectious grooves, thick guitar riffs and contagious harmonies to target a broad demographic of rock and roll audiences.
Lost Lighthouse is a Montreal-based prog-punkcore (PRUNK) group with an addiction for all things heavy. A ferocious four-piece with a style in the vein of acts such as Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy and Queens of the Stone Age. For the past 8 years, Lost Lighthouse has been breaking new ground gigging in various Montreal clubs, while developing their signature sound. With thunderous drums, soaring melodies, and heavy hooks, Lost Lighthouse isn’t afraid to get loud. You’ve been warned.
